SHIPPING, RETURNS, AND FAQ’S

SALE POLICIES
All items marked “final sale” or discounted to 50% or more off of the original price cannot be returned or exchanged and are final sale. We offer a one-time price adjustment on full-price merchandise that has been discounted within seven days of purchase. Items not purchased at full price are ineligible for price adjustments. Discount codes cannot be combined with other codes and promotions.

SHIPPING POLICIES
All orders are processed and shipped within 24-72 hours of receipt from the warehouse on the island of Belitung.
If any of the ordered items are unexpectedly sold out, we will notify you by email.
Orders of $ 100 or more are shipped with a free standard international post.
For orders up to $ 100, we charge a flat rate shipping and handling fee of $45.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for packages that have been lost or returned due to incorrect shipping information entered at the time of purchase.
Before sending the order, make sure that all the data is correct, in particular, we recommend that you thoroughly check your e-mail and delivery address.
We are not responsible for unexpected delays or losses of the package during the shipping. This responsibility passes to the carrier.
After sending the package, we cannot make any changes or cancel the order.
All international orders require a phone number for delivery and cannot be delivered to a PO Box or Hotel.
Any additional taxes and charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Packages that are refunded due to unpaid customs fees, will incur an additional shipping fee should you request re-posting at a later date.

RETURN POLICY
We believe strongly in our products, their quality and we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you receive an incorrect order, damaged or defective product, we’ll gladly return money or replace the item provided that the items are returned in the same condition they were received, in the original packaging, unused and without any signs of wear.
If you have received a Gift With Purchase, the gift must also be returned otherwise the value of the gift will be deducted from your refund.
Underwear, opened apothecary goods, custom goods, sexual wellness goods are non-returnable. All shipping costs are non-refundable.
To begin the return/exchange process, fill out the form, and send it to us no later than 3 days after receiving your order. We will then inform you to approve or reject your return/exchange.
If the return/exchange process is approved, the goods are accepted and inspected, your money will be refunded within 30 days of the start of the process.

GIFTS & GIFT CARDS
We are always happy to accommodate packages being mailed as gifts. Should you wish to send an order as a gift please contact us at support@kindredblack.com and we will be happy to give your purchase special attention including a handwritten gift enclosure. Online gift cards are available for purchase here.

VINTAGE & ONE-OF-A-KINDS
All of our one-of-a-kind, vintage, and antique items have been professionally cleaned and are ready to wear or use. For clothing, we have included a size estimation and flat measurements. Please make sure to measure against a similar item in your closet to see if those dimensions will work. We’re also happy to answer any questions that you may have before you buy at support@kindredblack.com.

We aim to source pre-owned, one-of-kind clothing, homegoods, accessories, and jewelry that are in excellent condition, but many items do show some pre-exisiting love. We try to represent any flaws or markings in pictures and descriptions.

Most items marked “Found by Kindred Black” are a one-of-a-kind item for us and there is only a single piece available. We recommend a “move it or lose it” policy when it comes to these pieces.

PACKAGING
All of our packaging, from shipping boxes and parcel tape to wrapping paper, stationary and hangtags is plastic free, made from 100% post consumer waste, and is recyclable and biodegradable. Our signature floral wrapping is 100% PCW and is printed near our office with vegetable and soy inks. Occasionally we receive a shipment from one of our designers that contains plastic, and if that happens, we don’t remove it before shipping it to you. We’re constantly looking for ways to reduce our footprint and will continue to work with our brands and suppliers to reduce packaging as much as possible.

PRIVACY POLICY
We respect your privacy and we’re committed to using any personal information obtained via the kindredblack.com website respectfully and responsibly. We will never, under any circumstance, sell or distribute any information collected from our customers to any third party.
